Prediction: Health Care Bill Will Not Pass

thanks chi...i know it's not a popular stance...funny thing is that i don't see it as being liberal as someone else mentioned...i see it as a necessity for the future of this country

If a man who fathered the child has no say in whether or not his own baby lives or dies, then how can he be held responsible for support if the child is born?

If he has no say in the matter, then the child is her sole responsibility.

I have no problem with that. If a man doesn't feel it appropriate to support his child, I personally wouldn't want his support.

However, Tucker wasn't speaking as if he was the father, he was speaking as a third party. Therefore I stand by my earlier statement that a woman's choices are none of his business.

I wouldn't say that the father should have no say. If I was personally speaking to a Woman individually, and she wanted my advice, I'd advise her to talk to the father.

But legally she must have final say, because only she has to carry that child. The father cannot offer to do it for her.

Once the baby is alive, it is up to both parents to see to it that it survives. Women are not allowed to ignore their child support when Fathers have custody, either. It's not fair that sometimes Men have to pay when they did not want a child. Forcing Women to bear children they do not want, or forcing children to grow up in poverty because one or both parents don't want to pay child support isn't fair either.

There is no way to make this fair, until science allows fetuses can survive outside the womb for the full 9 months.

Saying tomorrow will be a historic moment, is definately understatement. It will be interesting to watch. If this bill pass when is going to be effective, 2014? Also can this bill be repealed if Obama does not seek reelection and if someone else takes over the white house in 2012?

 

If this bill passes and the economy improves, BHO will def. seek re-election.
