Wow @ those folks holding the signs up, WTF!! If the right thinks this behavior is ok, what else is there to debate or discuss, they are in the wrong, but also INSANE. I can't help but notice a pattern here, older whites, which was Obama's hardest demographic to win over, judging by the pics, no surprise there. I'm not even seeing other minorities either, majority are angry old whites. This is a shame too, because Obama's policies would more than likely help some of them, but karma will come back to bite these folks in the arse! Hmmm, there's something quite familiar about the tone of these protests, I just can't put my finger on it...

 

Americans forget that their chief ally in Europe, the United Kingdom has a socialist Government. And mant European countries have left wing Governments too.

 

This is shocking.

 

Forgetting about the UK's government suggests that most Americans actually knew anything about it in the first place, which is something I don't quite believe.

 

Socialism doesn't work. Work hard and get what you deserve. no hand outs.

 

There are a whole lot of Canadians, Brits, ect. who would argue the two (Socialism, to some degree, and hard work to achieve your goals) are not mutually exclusive.

Do you really believe that everyone who works hard gets what they deserve in this country? So everyone poor is lazy? People bankrupted by medical bills should have worked harder prior to getting sick? If you're laid off it's not the economy, it's because you didn't work hard enough?

How serious are you about 'no hand outs'? Should we refuse admittance to the uninsured at emergency rooms? What about women in labor, should they be stopped at the door? What about senior citizen discounts on public transportation? What about libraries? Where do you draw the line, and why?

 

CBQ, you are asking sensible, logical, tough, thoughtful, questions about important issues. I don't expect Sneeky to answer because such a response would require more depth of thought than just the usual regurgitating of right wing slogans and talking points.
