Less than a week after losing his World Boxing Council light-heavyweight championship belt via a controversial second round TKO loss to Chad "Bad" Dawson, 46 year old boxer Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins has been reinstated as the WBC light-heavyweight champ. Hopkins was reinstated as the champion after the WBC declared the Oct. 15 boxing match between the two a technical draw. "I'd like to thank Mr. Sulaiman and the board for looking at the tape and just for taking the time to look at the tape," Hopkins said after being reinstated. "They came up with what I think is the right decision. Like me or hate me, I think most people will think it's the right decision that they made."
