Congressman James Clyburn joins Roland Martin on the Tom Joyner
Morning Show to discuss the battle for the Minority Whip position between him and Steny Hoyer. Congressman Clyburn told Roland that neither he nor Hoyer have enough votes to win the Minority Whip position.
Roland asked Congressman Clyburn what does it mean to have an African-American in the leadership position of the House. Congressman Clyburn said, “… we will not be setting the agenda. We will have to be putting up an alternative agenda. We would have to be articulating what it is about the Republican agenda that’s not good for our continuance.”
Clyburn went on to say; “it would be foolhardy to have those discussions taking place without input from places like the Congressional Black Caucus, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus because the road back to the majority runs through minority caucuses and communities … and so those positions, those experiences, those issues that are important to minority communities need to have input at that table

I believe he was already given the position by Pelosi. I am honestly against Clyburn. He has no experience in the economy from what I know. We need to put democrats in that are experienced in the economy. Pelosi is another nightmare. Had the dems kept the house, I would have wanted her to be fired from her position of speaker. She is a big liability. I'd call her the batwoman of the house. She needs to work in the darkness and not the light.

What the shit. Clyburn who was number two gets demoted to number three so that the white guy can get number two behind princess pelosi. Now Clyburn is in the so-called front seat to drive Miss Pelosi with a promise for a little power. I applaud the Hispanic Caucus for their behind the scene machinations to keep the democratic leadership white.
