Yeah, right. I don't know if you've noticed this, but Obama and the Democratic party as a whole are no where near the "far left." Obama is centrist who is still trying fruitlessly to appeal to people on the right. All of his nominees for the high court are going to be moderates.
What is it with you right wingers and your labels? During the campaign, you guys strenuously argued that then-Sen. Obama was a big government, baby-killing, gay marriage loving, America-hating, anti-2nd Amendment, tax-and-spend liberal and that he was out of the mainstream of America. When he beat John McCain, taking 53% of the popular vote with a 10 million vote margin in a "center-right country", you guys then changed your tune to the narrative of him running as a conservative, with him championing issues such as tax cuts and eliminating wasteful spending. So which is it then? If Obama is a far-left extremist, then it would mean that America is not a "center-right country" because if it were, America would have pulled a Dukakis on his ass i.e. back out of him in the last minute. But if he supposedly ran as a conservative, then all those accusations are mute and don't make any sense then! You know what's worse than a demagogue? A demagogue with no consistency.
We he speaks like he is a moderate because sounds good. What about the spending bill? What about releasing memos on our tactics on the war on terror? Carbon taxes in a recession explain that please. What about Bill Ayers? I like Obama I just feel he should not be president. feel free to attack.
On the off chance you are serious with these concerns, let's discuss. First the spending bill was in fact bi-partisan and the republican bill would have been just as big with a few changes in where the money went assuming your objection is with the amount being spent, which the economy desperately needs. As for the memos Obama said the tactics adopted by the administration of his predecessor "undermine our moral authority and do not make us safer." He released only four memos on tactics that are no longer used, how is that a problem? If you disagree please state why. The carbon tax during a recession is not ideal, either you agree that global warming is an real and growing threat or not, if so, hard choices need to be taken now to try to turn the tide.
