I give President Obama the following grades: Health Care= C- Job Creation= D Financial Reform= C Climate Change Initative= B- Immigration= Incomplete Terrorism= F Closing Guantanamo= F Leadership= C Education Reforms= A
Health Care=better then Bush Job Creation= better then Bush Financial Reform= better then Bush Climate Change Initative= better then Bush Immigration= better then Bush Terrorism= better then Bush Closing Guantanamo= better then Bush Leadership= better then Bush Education Reforms= much better then Bush
And yeah. What he (she?) said. Although I'm waiting to see what form the final health care bill will take. What I'm seeing now, I don't like.
I give him a B- right now, it's been a year dealing with the issues that are current today. Besides, the topics listed doesn't say anything about how the rest of the world see us now with Obama in the WH. That cloud of fear made by the last adminsrtation is fading really fast. Our President as of this week, has showed the world our generosity to Haiti. Logistics & moblity offered with the quickness. There's your job creation right there! Rebuilding Port au Prince.
I know I think he is performing very poor on the healthcare issue. But I see how people was not bashing bush when he was in the administration, and how they are getting on Obama..... well there is no way to compare. Obama is making now a very intresting move towards the the financial industry... I am courios of the outcome... And he reacted quicker on Haiti then bush reacted on New Orleans.
I really like how both the left and the right believe that he's an asshole these days. A year ago he couldn't even get them to agree on anything at all.:smt042
I don't think that most people fully understand the huge political undertaking that is health care reform and what a truly outstanding job this administration has done in getting such groundbreaking policy drafted and soon to be passed. Will the healthcare bill be perfect? Far from it, no political answer to a social problem is without flaws, however even the most rabid Obama hater must concede the political mastery that was necessary to attack the status quo and make an effort to control an industry that was and is spiraling out of control cost-wise. There is much I disagree with this President on, but I have to give him credit for not allowing our economy and financial institutions from heading into a depression. I wish more on the right would at least give him credit for that.
