Is that so? well the history books i read at school said the arabs fought for independence - against the Ottoman turks during WW1, then colonial powers trying to carve up their territories after the war, then the British when they were setting up Israel. Who in turn did invade surrounding arab territories (egypt and jordan). not that it matters - its a very strange argument you make - just because they didnt intervene they are responsible for the deaths and displacement of their neighbours?

 

I'm mentioning the 1948 founding of Israel and why other Arab nations did not help the Palestinians instead of starting a war. Also,they did not form a cohesive force to fight against the young country.
