    Maybe.

But why in the hell would a Black person seek out political representation from the GOP??
    Makes no sense.

The modern Republican Party became a refuge for Southern Democrats who left the party after the signing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 into law.
It's not an accident the majority of White southerners to this day identify as Republicans.

Bring us your bigots, segregationists and racists....we've got a home for you in the Grand Old Party.

There have been like 5 front runners already for the Republican nomination. Hell Donald Trump was a front runner for a time. And I'm not sure why this guy currently being at the top is a reason for anyone here to be smiling. Has anyone even been paying attention to the cat shit crazy things this guy has been saying??

It will NEVER happen, the conservatives would run a third party candidate to offset.

Mr. Cain is the GOP way of saying "Hey, we can pick a black guy for president too".

he is about to get rick perry-ed (become the campaign's pinata. you know. you are on the top of the polls and every person running starts in on you from the candidates to the media). the media is eating up and spitting out his 999 and so are the other candidates. next, they will eat his black card and spit it at him.

    Watch Mitt Romney win this!

People truly don't understand how old people don't like change!

Romney is predictable. He was there in the last election . just like McCain was in the election when bush got elected. It is how the game is setup. If you are newbie, you are not running for this year. You are running for the next 4 years. Watch Rick perry in 2016!

sorry NJ Governor you blew your chance better luck 2020!

Pitts: The black self-loathing of Herman Cain

    By Leonard Pitts Jr.
    6:00 a.m. EDT, October 16, 2011

This is for those who keep asking what I think of Herman Cain. In particular, it's for those who want to know what the tea party's embrace of this black businessman turned presidential candidate says about my claim that the tea party is racist.

I might eat the plate of crow those folks proffer if I'd ever actually made that claim. What I have said, fairly consistently, is something more nuanced: Racial animus is an element of tea party ideology, but not its entirety. As I once noted in this space, the tea party probably would not exist if Condoleezza Rice were president.

Modern social conservatives, in my experience, do not hate black people en masse. To the contrary, there are two kinds of blacks they love. The first is those, like Ms. Rice, who are mainly mute on the subject of race, seldom so impolite as to say or do anything that might remind people they are black. The second is those who will engage on race, but only to lecture other blacks for their failures as conservatives conceive them. And that, friends and neighbors, is Herman Cain all over.

"I don't believe racism in this country today holds anybody back in a big way," he told CNN recently. Had he contended too many African-Americans use racism as an excuse for failure to succeed and even failure to try, Mr. Cain would have gotten no grief from me; I've made that argument often."

what is really funny ? Right wingers love throwing out talking points such as left wing dont like the personal responsibility but yet cant find anyone who says that shit. when the right wing gets in trouble using the N-word they get made when people jump into their ass and they end up losing their jobs over it they scream "my constitutional rights have been violated".

u guys cant have it both ways. the job u lost wasnt yours it was the guy who employed you. he didnt want to lose money over your racist mouths. It is a private entity thus losing your job is not violating your rights. the govt didnt say stop using the N-word...the paying customers and public did. so take persoanl responsibility for your actions. when you side with a group of people who dont see you as human...take personal responsibility because you knew from the start.

I would never vote for Cain...
