Sorry DI, but you have to take the good with the bad. There is a legion of less-attractive women who (all things being equal) dont even get the job because they are not as attractive as other applicants. So Im sure you wont be too hurt if no one weeps for those "attractive" women. (The "im too pretty" is not a very sympathetic position.) Oh, and the "i suffer because the world hates my country" thing...not to sound mean, but get over it! The world thinks the united states is full of idiots and hates us. But being shunned by the rest of the planet is the price we (russia, the u.s., and china) pay when we make it a habit of picking on smaller, weaker, countries and then try to justify being a bully with some lame, bullsh*t excuse. You want the world to be united...then start by telling your army to get the hell out of georgia!
Ben Stein I saw on Sunday Morning the commentary by Ben Stein on the Russian/Geogian conflict. He said that the US have no business there because they are streched thin by Iraq and Afganistan. The US would be humiliated if they jump into this conflict according to him.
WHOA! WHOA! slow down JB, DI could say the same to you by telling you to get out of Iraq. While we still look for WMD's whooops, liberating Iraq, oh yeah are we still doing that? We aren't going to war with Russia BTW, NATO's not that dumb, the US is not that dumb and Russia is not that dumb...
good for you, if you dont care what people think about your country. I do always care when it comes to the relations between people (no matter from the same neighborhood or different planet sides). I cant just dont pay attention to the hate people feel towards each other. because God made us all to live in love and peace, that's why I feel so bad when I see how countries are ready to get into the war.
yeah, I hope so and I actually think so too. cause if it happens, it would be the end for everyone on this earth...
I never said the united states had clean hands. Actually, the u.s. is the biggest, most hypocritical, bully on the block! The thing is...DI is in complete denial about her own country also being a bully. She keeps talking about "god, love, and peace, but a huge part of that process is countries (and its citizens) owning their mistakes and wrong-doing. Although we (the u.s.) do a lot of wrong around the world, one thing you must give us credit for is that there is always a chorus of intelligent americans who stand up and say, "What we are doing is wrong and I dont agree with my country's actions!" I respect DI for her heart, but she has yet to say,"what russia did by invading georgia is wrong"...or anything to that effect. Russia pulling out of georgia would be a great first step towards the peace and good relations she so desperately wants.
