I bet when the history books are finally written about what changed America to a true interracial society someday, the Internet has to be the "revolutionary" so to speak that accelerated this interracial social dynamic. If it was not for the Internet there would be no site like this one. Before the Internet whites and blacks lived in isolated communities (still do) but the internet is making it possible to jump over the boundaries to find each other. It is how I found the love of my life. Not much as a study has yet been done on the social science of this , but I believe this technology will eventually bring the world closer together. Imagine how much has change and will continue to change. I wish my father from the segregationist days was still here to see this one.
Well, I don't know about all that. But I have met a lot of people online I never would have met any other way, since they are from all over the world and I don't have means to travel very far.
this is called GLOBALIZATION! It has bad and good aspects. I think that allovving to ppl from all over the vvorld to meet and get to knovv each other is great. ^_^ No limits, nothing. VVe are all in the same place.

This is definitely true for me. The sharp divides between racial lines in the US made me focus on the beauty of it.
