Money Mayweather vs. Cotto! Who ya got?

I'm a Floyd fan, simply because he truly is the best pound for pound fighter in history, but there is no sport more racially motivating than boxing. Through the sports history, Italians will support the Italian fighter, Irish will support Irish, Blacks will supports blacks, and so on.

I asked 5 friends in my office who are latino and they are all picking Cotto.

I then asked my Haitian co-worker and he was far more blunt. "Sammy, who you got?", I said. His reply: "Who is fighting." I reply, "Floyd Mayweather and Miguel Cotto." "Who is the black guy, Mayweather? RR, no matter what the game or sport, I will always support the black guy, come on man! Why you even ask?!"


It is what it is I guess. I don't really want to consider it racism and don't get offended, but some do. :smt109

 

Mayweather is, deservedly, the favorite. Cotto defeating Mayweather would be an upset.

For once I actually feel as if The $70 bucks I paid was worth it. Good fight.

 

Cotto fought well. Mayweather showed aggression.

It was quite entertaining.
