Edit: I posted this in the wrong section, meant to post it in the politics section. Asking the webmaster to move my thread. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/vi...story_due_to_foreign_policy_achievements.html
I don't think a right wing site like realclearpolitics can designate a good president. They are biased and sometime racist.
Muthafuckas are stoopid and can't read. Obama put his legislative and foreign policy accomplishments in his FIRST TWO YEARS against any POTUS in history over a similar time frame. Slightly grandiose, but reforming healthcare ( in part), allowing gays to serve openly in the military, assassinating OBL, ending the war in Iraq, saving the U.S. auto industry, creating 2 million private sector jobs, etc. Prove him wrong. If Obama doesn't starting hyping himself more in the media, people start believing that right-wing lie he hasn't done shit in the Oval Office.:smt018
You can't accurately judge a president in the present. History is the only barometer for how successful a presidency is/was. As for were Obama stands. Well when you consider the amount of bullshit he has had to deal with over the last four years. -erosion of America's international image -2 wars (1 down 1 to go) -the worst economic crisis since the great depression -the most obstructionist congress/senate in the last 100 years -the most blatant political racism since the civil war -most hate mail than any president in American history -24 hour spin/lie/race-baiting machine (fox news) It's a damn miracle the country hasn't sunk like a rock, let alone be on the road to recovery. So if I was him I would toot my own horn a little too. Lastly, Obama oppositionist always say that his supporters cry racism when they criticize the president. I know that not all of Obama's critics are racist, but a lot are, and if your motivation is racist I'm gonna call it like I see it.
definitely. I give him and his family a ton of credit, because I know what it's like to go through flagrant, in the open racism. I may not agree with everything he says or does, but he definitely gets style points in my book. Every time an article about him appears on yahoo or any other site, they're filled with racist comments from posters. Stuff like that just reminds you of what's out there and how many people REALLY feel about blacks in power.
In just sayin I like the fact that his election is bringing all this dirt to the surface politicians are saying really greasy stuff about him and his race, and the way him and his family handles it is great many of us can relate to him and I think it makes his 2012 run that much stronger I'd rather have him in office than one of those racist mofos
Tenn1972,with all due respect I find it objectionable that find the President the worst Democratic leader in history. He had endured what no President had in the racial criticism, outright disrespect to his office, and mostly his background:he is biracial.
While there are many things I majorly disagree with about president Obama.I felt most of the criticism he was receiving in the media was ridiculous hype. Though one thing I like about his critics is that they got those people saying "racism is over/insignificant" to shut the fuck up.
Obama's opening up a big lead in recent polling, coming from Rasmussen Reports. IMO, Rasmussen is the most accurate company for polling data. The polls can be viewed on RealClearPolitics.com. Lets not claim victory yet, let's just silently be happy for now. Obama/Romney - 51 to 45 (Obama +6) Obama/Gingrich - 54 to 43 (Obama +11) Obama/Santorum - 44 to 45 (Santorum +1) Obama/Paul - 50 to 38 (Obama +12) Minus the Santorum poll, things are looking good for us.
