Rick Perry: The Poor And Seniors Don’t Pay Enough In Taxes

Oversimplification. I'm not hating on the rich. With my income, a lot of people would have thought of me as living on easy street.

I'm just recognizing the reality that being able to have that kind of income is not based solely on "hard work" and the realization of some mythical American Dream.

 

My mom and dad grew up poor and actually they've managed to work their way up to a more privileged lifestyle. They're not rich, nor they are poor. They just work hard to keep a good home and what have you. Everything you've said is spot on.

 

I don't hate the rich, I love the rich. Buy some of my products so I can be rich too, shit.

 

In all of the threads I have read, you simply end up taking the "easy" way out and suggesting that the discussions dissolve because of differing opinions. The reality is that nothing could be further from the truth.

The issue is not you being dragged into liberal threads, it's your inability to explain or defend your political position with more than rhetoric.

Hahaha, that's what I've been saying. I wonder though...do you think that because of media plurality, people are more skeptical of factual information presented to them?

 

He is one of a a string of nutjobs in the GOP. He also said Texas should secede from the Union and he does not get along with Karl Rove which means he will amp this via his thinktank.

 

I assume by that statement that you don't like him as governor in your home state of Texas, am I right? lol

 

He should have stayed out of the race because his politics in Texas aren't as perfect as you may think. He's definitely pushing free-market capitalism to attract business and that's nice and dandy, but there are some underlying problems with his credentials.

 

The wealthiest corporations don't pay shit either...what about that?
