So has the Trump era affected interracial relations?

Do you think it has affected interracial dating, or cross-racial friendships?

Do you think it has affected ww/bm relations specifically?

I think it has. Of course, my perspective as just one guy is narrow. That being said, I don't observe as many IR couples as I used to, even among millennials, and I sense that cross-racial interactions are more stilted than before.

As a dude, I get less flirtation from ww than a few years ago (but that could just mean I'm getting older lol).

And based on my observations of social media, I think IR is becoming a bit more taboo (though admittedly, the only social media I actually follow is this board -- barely -- and Youtube).

My spidey senses tell me however that something has changed.

    Is it just me?

And on the other side of the pond -- has Brexit (and other "rightist" politics) affected IR?

I think everyone should be concerned when the POTUS is the foreign asset of an enemy government.

Yup just you bro. WW are throwing themselves at brothas now more than ever as their men reveal themselves to be alt-right or full-on Nazis lol

BM/WW dating and marriage rates are even higher in the UK than in the US

No; it's all in your head. People don't make dating decisions based on who the President is. And interracial dating continues to increase, regardless of who the President is. The Trump Derangement Syndrome is getting old.

Proof? The Mueller Report concluded that there was no collusion between Trump and Russia. As President, Trump increased sanctions on Russia, kicked out Russian ambassadors, bombed Putin ally Assad, provided missiles to Ukraine and Poland (something Obama did not do).

What's funny is I've seen the older folks get their IR on after like the 1st/2nd spouse. Saying "I wasn't attracted to (insert race) in my younger years. Some we're but made the sacrifice their family at that time.

I mean... who is really trying to fuck women who voted for trump? I’m genuinely curious. That would have been a better question. And then compare the differences between those who voted for trump, for Hillary, and who didn’t vote at all.

Is sex with a conservative white supremacist better? Do they make you pray to a white deity before the act?

Or is sex better with a liberal white supremacist (feminist)? Does she make you pray to the “goddess” before the act?

I would put my money on the woman who didn’t vote at all.

Mostly all the dudes I grew up with married sistas, and now they've got WW for their second acts at 50 years old and up. When those dudes kids turned 18 it was like they got their freedom papers.

That older generation of black men and white women is an interesting one. Black men shamed into marrying black women, and white women shamed into marry white men (of course there are also those who flip the script later in life... but that’s another story).

You read the Mueller report wrong. Everyone Mueller issued subpoenas and requested interviews from WH staff to confirm that Trump indeed knowingly accepted campaign assistance AND participated in helping the Russians get him elected, either were not allowed by Trump to talk or they ignored the subpoenas outright.

The entire Mueller report was about how Trump and his confederates obstructed the investigation, which usually isn't the behavior of innocent people.

That's why Mueller said he couldn't exonerate the president of wrong-doing. Mueller also said he was personally not allowed by DOJ to prosecute the POTUS.

When you know why and can tell the rest of us why Trump had a private meeting with Putin at a Helsinki summit, then took the interpreter's notes away to keep the meeting PRIVATE from his own WH and the State Department, something that never happens, then I still contend that Trump is working in the best interest of the Kremlin.

Trump expelled 60 Russian ambassadors in 2018 because Putin poisoned former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia.

Obama is the one who expelled Russian diplomats in retaliation for interfering with our presidential election.

Yall still can't see the hustle with Trump and don't get that he's not real big on rules, laws or shit that's in the Constitution.

You don't have all the people in the Trump campaign who oddly were in contact with Russian agents without there being something to it.

Sure -- try to pretend the Trump presidency is normal.

Fact: It's worthy of discussion & scrutiny, right on down to the impact it's going to have on government, international relations and possibly US society -- including 'race relations' -- going forward.

Once again -- try to gaslight everyone as if a klan sympathizer in the white house if run of the mill.

And don't forget, race relations are different from state to state.

... So Trump may have more of an effect where there are more trump supporters, and they & black people are therefore "polarized"...

Not saying that's how it is, but I think it's a good question for a bm/ww message board.

My sister was involved with a white dude who is a trump supporter. And famously, there's that Youtube example of the white dude dropping the "N" bomb on his black girl in an argument over trump.

The overwhelming majority of working class white men fuck w/ Trump. ... And working class white women aren't far behind.

I'll bet most hood-booger white chicks you see dragging a mixed baby along are for trump on the DL, if they think politically at all.

Personally, I detect a cooling in race relations, based on less interaction I observe at the gym & among the youngsters.

I even sense that ww/bm has become more taboo among black people ... based on the internet mainly, but also my personal observations ... though like you said, I'm just one person, so clearly I don't know it all.

Otoh, maybe most of you aren't in states that get a lot of Trump support?

There is so much truth here. Black men are shamed to no end if they don't choose a black woman especially in these polarized times. "Let's see your white bitch march for your black ass"
And the argument is always how can you be with women who have a history of setting black men up as if white women are a single minded monolith a stereotype black people are constantly fighting.
Not to mention the same criticism never exists for black women with white men. Suddenly the past crimes of whiteness no longer apply now love is love even with white men who support the destruction of black people in particular black men. This is why I no longer entertain listening to people who even fix their mouth to comment. It's racist pure and simple they make massive assumptions about a situation they aren't involved with not because they even care about black men (they only care about black women period the end) they need soldiers and their only tactic to recruit is shaming tactics. These women don't even want black men unless they are high earning. It's all sad because people are denying themselves happiness for people who are fundamentally miserable and want everyone else to be miserable. Same goes for white men so obsessed with who white women date. People they either have no interest or shot with but they obsess and obsess over it.

Welp, based on the OP's responses to this thread this is just another "whine about Trump" thread disguised as IR dating topic thread to reel people in.

Admin might as well move this thread to the politics subforum.

Yeah - I definitely sense that ww/bm is becoming more taboo among black people (both men and women).

Black people stay trying to apply bandaids to black culture. Now that bw/bm relations are likely permanently "iffy" and scarred and the fractures are arguably beyond fixing, bm & bw are trying to save "black love" by limiting everyone's choices.

And I bet it affects the way ww think about it too.

Good observation. It's a ton of people who feel entitled to not only the body but the labor and talents of said bodies. Interesting how similar this is to both slavery and the misogyny we constantly hear about yet no one has an issue with it. Honestly all they're going to do is push high achieving men to go elsewhere while they continue to claim there aren't any good black men around. Again this isn't everyone but boy ...m

A push for censorship by a trump supporter? Nooo -- I can't believe my eyes.

And my responses are exactly about the topic at hand -- IR in the trump era -- you know, the topic you're all up in, while pulling your hair out and contributing nothing. :D
