The nation of Turkey has finally entered the war to defeat ISIS. Turkey now realize after cross border bombings and killings of it's citizens that no border will stop this murderous organization. This is significant. This could be the beginning of a huge regional war beyond Syria and Iraq. The Shite and Sunni conflict with Saudi, Jordan, Turkey and Iran on one side and the hellish ISIS on the other could ignite a third world war. My military friends are telling me that this is a huge game changer with Turkey in the Middle East. We have a major military Air Base "Incirlick" a few miles away from the Syrian border in Turkey and ISIS is making threats to take out that base. Iran which got a good deal from Obama to continue their research programs on nuclear weapons is also the nucleus of a nuclear arms race in the region that will catapult the Saudi Arabians and others to get their own nuclear program on the fast track to counter the hated Persians (Iranians), a new arms race. Turkey cannot no longer trust Obama to come to their aid if attack by ISIS. They realize they must stand on their own, because Obama is seen by many around the world to be a weak and ineffective leader. The old Ottoman Empire (Turkey) are seeing as Malcolm X use to say "the chickens are coming home to roost". There is going to be a world war initiated in the Middle East that will bring in the major powers like Russia (siding with the Syrians) and the U.S. and the European powers. Europe has more to worry about. Turkey could be the flashpoint and the huge migration of refugees into Europe from a major war will upset the balance of power in that part of the world. I love this site for the "few" highly intelligent men and women here who understand what is going on. I have many friends here, unfortunately are more into sports, sex, and entertainment and can not offer an intelligent conversation on the issues that could impact them and their children.

Ok, I have seen you take repeated shots at President Obama, with no facts or reasons to back up your claims. You claim to value "highly intelligent" debate, so lets see if you can detail exactly why you feel the deal with Iran (which prohibits them from attaining nuclear weapons, not enabling them to continue per your claim) which is not only President Obama's deal but also negotiated and agreed to by Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany, is in fact a bad deal for all of those countries and a good deal for Iran. In addition, given the fact that President Obama stared down Putin and Assad and got them to stop using chemical weapons, and submit to UN inspections in Syria to not use them ongoing, killed Bin Laden, and led sanctions that have crippled Russia's economy in light of Putin's land grab of the Ukraine, tell me EXACTLY why you would say he is a weak and ineffective leader on the world stage. Bring some facts, ANY facts to back up your claims if you truly value intelligent debate, I will be waiting...
