if this is accurate then it is certainly goods news...these percentages only include those people eligible for unemployment...for some unemployment benefits have now run out...we are also on the verge of spring/summer which means that there will be additional job seekers coming right out of college, high school kids that take summer jobs and baby boomers that find themselves unable to retire transitioning back into the work place... unemployment is no joke...especially for the singletons...
Don't let the numbers fool you. The cause of it all would be due to people simply just being stagnate on job finding. So we may see an increase in the next two months or so.
Always check the U6 unemployment rate, which reveals things more accurately. 15.9% for February, 2011. 15.3% for blacks.
