I say unleash Japan and Israel to develop their own nuclear capabilities and anti-missile defenses to take care of their own defense since the United States has become a paper tiger. Let Japan play a bigger role in Asia and militarize again for it's own national defense to deal with North Korea and China. Let Israel do likewise to defens themselves against Iran. Since the United States is no longer the power it use to be to take care of these threats, I say let others in the world take care of their own defense. Pull our bases and troops out of Germany, and Japan. The welfare defense protection we have given those wealthy nations have to stop. Let them spend money on their own defense and stop supporting them to spend only on their social programs for their people. Let "them" fight for themselves.
I agree. They need to look to themselves for their defense. It's not our job to take care of the world. We only need to take care of ourselves
Yeah, but Japan is part of the non-nuclear superpowers so they aren't even going to think about it. Israel already have nuclear weapons and were planning to use them last year on Iran's nuclear sites until the Bush Administration vetoed the idea. But yeah, i agree with everyone. Even though we've been the world's justice department, it's about that we descended from that throne as we've been doing it for far too long. We can't keep trying to fix the world's problems all the time seeing as we ourselves are as fucked as can get. Imagine the fact that the world's most powerful and technically advanced navy is being challenged by a small boat of pirates. Doesn't that tell you how much the whole "war on terror" mantra by the Bush Administration hasn't really put fear into the hearts of the terrorists.
