    Congressman.
    Ryan is a U.S. Representative from Wisconsin, not a Senator.

    It is scary when people who vote don't even know what position the person has held for more than 10 years.

    It does not say well for the average folk who are casting votes.


    If you don't even know his position in congress, how well do you know the bills that he has tried to pass?

    Trust me, I am well aware of Paul Ryan's positions. But you're probably right...my years of following politics should be thrown out the window with my typo on a forum. I can't be trusted. smh

    Yep, you're right.

    My problem is that I constantly just think of the Senate and Congress as the same thing, and use the terms interchangeably. And really, I don't need a civics lesson as I know the difference, but to me they're different yet the same.

    I will be more conscious of not using those terms interchangeably in an online forum in the future.

    And yes, I know it's not correct, but that's just how my brain uses those terms.
