I would be more inclined to have the two people and the officiant in a pretty spot, so those kind don't cost much at all. Split it. Big weddings are disgusting with the amount of waste. It's not about "the day" but everything that comes after. Not a fan of big crowds either.

I was married once and I planned to marry again (but I think it won't happen)- anyway, both men were the ones that were planning a huge wedding, not me. But I assume, if you want to marry someone, who cares, who pays. Maybe him, maybe me or both of us...I don't want to start a discussion about it on my first day of my new future, I only want to see him happy
