You are welcome. Knowledge is power. I'm glad to help whenever I can. By the way, I have enjoyed a lot of the postings that you have done. I'm fairly new here but I try to read those posts that interest me.
I appreciate the compliments. I have done another topic earlier, but it's VERY lengthy, so it would require some time to write this stuff out. If You Were Governor of Your State... The link above is the topic that requires some time. I like to make it as interesting as possible.
16 is adequate I think, like here anything under should be classed as statutory Rape, unless the other person involved is underage to. We need some work done on our Rape laws here though, too many get off scott free, pretty pointless to have a law and nothing gets done about it:roll:
But what if one person is 18 and the other is 15. They most likely attend the same school. Is that wrong
Yep 18 is a long way from 15, I'm sure you will agree that alot happens in that 1 year before you turn 16, alot of things change in a relatively short time, emotional maturity being the most important. Children in adult situations before they have developed enough to handle it, is a terrible thing.
But isn't maturity defined by action not just age and again what if you're dating someone who goes to your school. And looking back 15 to 16 was different than 16 to 17. Either age change I was still a dumb kid just maybe a little bigger. I seriously think as long as you're in high school even the first two years of college you're still a kid. You're brain doesn't develop to adulthood till around 25
nationally the laws need to be revised and/or (re) written to reflect a new era...there is too much lumped into the age of consent currently...the repercussions of being an offender not always fitting the crime...it seems that in some cases there are loopholes and in others it would appear too be a net with which nothing could fall through depending on the offender which was previously mentioned...in the court money talks...lawyers are bought and paid for as well as the charges...sentences...it all comes down to mitigating factors...it is difficult to play with the numbers and set ages when the level of maturity is questionable...a very grey area today when you look at how over time the hormones in the food we eat has changed the development of our youth...30 years ago is was pretty standard for a teenage girl to start her period at age 15-16...now girls are developing much younger 12-13...does that mean that they are more mature? not exactly, it means that they are faced with the reality of pregnancy much earlier...kids are much more aggressive sexually today...sexting, oral sex. being bi-sexual, engaging in sexual intercourse...all as if it is an afterschool sport...bottomline, it comes down to who is pressing charges and who is lawyer (ing) up...
Eh? this only applies to white??? geezuz, that just fukking weird to say. For ANY girl at 13, its not "often" - its RARELY.
Fixed. I agree ol' Serpent is definitely suspect. Btw, it's not woman bashing if the person has a penis.
