The duo have signed what sources say is a $200 million multiyear overall film and TV deal with Netflix. Under the pact, Benioff and Weiss will depart their longtime home at HBO and create and develop new projects for the streaming giant.
Finally Netflix made a move. But how good are these guys without GoT. I know Benioff is producing the upcoming Gemini Man and has worked on the movie Troy(which was terrible.) but what else do they have.

I just saw Rotten Tomatoes put out this 3-minute clip discussing just that:

Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss just signed a multiyear, $200 million overall deal with Netflix! Mark Ellis is here to tell you everything you need to know about the deal, what this means for Benioff & Weiss's Star Wars and Confederate projects, and how this will affect Netflix's future in this new episode of 'The Ketchup'!

The consensus online seems to be unless Benioff & Weiss are gonna be doing big-budget adaptions from well-written source material this is just another example of Netflix wasting money.

Agreed
Just don't know what that would be

And I hope with giving them $200 million dollars that's what they are looking for them to do. Or they have just wasted money.

Writer J. Michael Strazcynski X Artist Mike Deodato, Jr. Reunite for The Resistance
08/2019

AWA (Artists, Writers, and Artisans) will launch its shared superhero universe with The Resistance, a six-issue series by J. Michael Straczynski and Mike Deodato, Jr. in spring 2020, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“The Resistance is the series that lays down the foundation for our shared universe — a universe that is rooted in the 21st Century,” AWA chief creative officer Axel Alonso, who was an editor for Strazcynski and Deodato's run on Amazing Spider-Man.

Alonso went on to call The Resistance “world-building at its finest by two elite creators working at the height of the talents.” The series focuses on the survivors of a global disaster that kills hundreds of millions of people - but leaves some with super powers.

“Born under a cloud, they must discover who they are, why they possess these powers and what, if any, responsibility they bear for what happened,” he said. “Are they harbingers of perils to come… or Earth’s last hope?”

USA Network just dropped this trailer for the "Jason Bourne" spinoff TV series "Threadstone":

From a producer of the “Bourne” franchise, Treadstone is an action-packed thriller set amidst the CIA black ops program Operation Treadstone. Treadstone explores the origin story and present-day actions of the infamous covert program that uses behavior modification protocol to turn recruits into nearly superhuman assassins. The first season of Treadstone follows sleeper agents across the globe as they’re mysteriously “awakened” to resume their deadly missions.

I had no idea a "Jason Bourne" TV series was being worked on.

DC Releases Hush Graphic Novel Trailer
Aug 2019

With the classic comic book story Batman: Hush serving as the inspiration for the latest DC Animated Movie, DC Entertainment has released an official trailer for the landmark graphic novel.

Spotlighting Jim Lee's universally acclaimed artwork with inker Scott Williams and colorist Alex Sinclair, the trailer showcases several highlights from Lee and writer Jeph Loeb's story that featured the Dark Knight confronted by the mysterious, titular villain.

First published in 2003, Loeb and Lee's story involved Batman's extensive cast of allies and villains, including a particularly memorable encounter with Superman when the action shifted from Gotham City to Metropolis.

The bestselling graphic novel has received numerous editions since its publication, with the most recent released this past March, which included a new cover by Lee, Williams, and Sinclair.

SYFY Cancels Krypton, Lobo Spin-off Is Not Moving Forward
Aug 2019

Just two months after it was publicly announced, Syfy's Lobo show has been aborted, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This comes in tandem with news that Krypton, the show Lobo would be spun off from, will not be renewed for a third season by Syfy.

Emmett J. Scanlan played Lobo in Syfy's Krypton, and was set to reprise the role for Lobo.

Warner Horizon (which produces both shows) plans to pitch Lobo to other networks and streaming services.
