Netflix just ordered a new sitcom called "Black Excellence" co-produced & co-starring both Kenya Barris (the creator/producer/former showrunner of "Black-ish") & Rashida Jones:

I saw niggas getting their jokes in, talking about this the first time they seen Rashida Jones with a black male since "The Chappelle Show":

That ain't a joke that's pure facts. She reminds me a lot of JLO always playing a white person but playing up the race angle to sell shit. Seriously outside of the name Rashida what else is black about that woman
I'm assuming virtually every guy on this site has heard similar talk at some point in his life, especially when trying to manifest or take pride in his blackness. The tyranny of small minds.
Remember when we joked about we rarely ever see Rashida Jones onscreen involved with a black male? Hulu dropped these trailer for new upcoming series "High Fidelity" starring Zoe Kravitz:

Sometimes you gotta face the music. #HighFidelity premieres February 14th, only on Hulu.

ABOUT HIGH FIDELITY
After 5 heartbreaks...it's finally time to face the music. High Fidelity premieres February 14th, only on Hulu.

A departure from Nick Hornby’s 1995 novel and beloved 2000 film, Hulu’s High Fidelity centers on Rob (Zoë Kravitz, who also serves as an executive producer), a female record store owner in the rapidly gentrified neighborhood of Crown Heights, Brooklyn who revisits past relationships through music and pop culture, while trying to get over her one true love. High Fidelity also stars Da’Vine Joy Randolph, David H. Holmes, Jake Lacy, and Kingsley Ben-Adir.

This probably the 1st time I seen Zoe Kravitz onscreen with a BM.

Lol I remember the movie version of this with John Cusack. My college roommate told me it reminded him of how much he hated movies about losers. Here's hoping Zoe comes off much better here lol

She was the love interest of Tracy Morgan in the terrible buddy cop movie Copout as well.

Netflix just dropped the trailer today for that "Black Excellence" sitcom that has now been retitled "#blackAF":

Unapologetically Black. From the creator of "black-ish" comes a brand new comedy. Kenya Barris and Rashida Jones star in "#blackAF", arriving on Netflix April 17, 2020.

Ok I want to see this

Based on what critics are saying about #blackAF on Twitter, I'm not expecting this show to be good. But, I will still probably check it out. Also the episode titles are cringeworthy AF:

Also Rashida Jones was trending on Twitter last night/Yesterday because of reverse colorism. Apparently some folks on Black Twitter had no idea that Rashida Jones is a mixed BW & that Quincy Jones is her Father. And colorism crybabies wish someone a non-mixed BW was playing the female lead.

Break out the yellow umbrella. After at least three attempts, a sequel series to CBS and 20th Television's ‘How I Met Your Mother’ has come to fruition. Hulu has handed out a 10-episode, straight-to-series order for ‘How I Met Your Father,’ with former ‘Lizzie McGuire’ star and ‘Younger’ cast member Hilary Duff set to star in the comedy.

From on-set photos to casting changes and more, here's everything we know so far about Hulu's 'How I Met Your Mother' offshoot.

After watching this clip, I think I'm in especially seeing it's only going to be 10 episodes in this upcoming 1st season compared to the 22-24 episodes a season in the original series.

Netflix is spinning off the Fox sitcom ‘That’s 70s Show.’ The new comedy is titled ‘That ’90s
Show,’ and the original series creators Bonnie and Terry Turner are back on board.

I never got into "That 70's Show". Maybe it's time I did.

I mean I watched it but that cause there use to be a lot less tv options and it was on times when I free time @ColiBreh1
Never loved it hopefully we get a good black male character lol.

Yeah, "That 70's Show" is show I should've watched in local syndication growing up during the 2000's but I just never got around to it probably because I was watching other sitcoms in syndication during that time. I slow-binged & caught up on "Scrubs" & "How I Met Your Mother" in the last several years, so I feel I might as well do the same with "That 70's Show".

Oh Damn Scrubs now that I was a show I watched a lot of back in the day and loved.

Never got into How I met your mother though....
