The Last of Us 15 Minute Demo

For those who have been able to enjoy the quality made titles from Naughty Dog Software, this is a brand new treat for anyone looking for a good action-adventure game. For those who are unfamiliar with the company, you will know the following series that Naughty Dog has been behind:

1. Crash Bandicoot series
2. Jak and Daxter series
3. Uncharted series

And one thing you cannot deny, mainly with the Jak games and Uncharted games, there's a compelling story that not only invokes plenty of emotion, but the characters seemingly comes to life effortlessly. If Sony can recognize one thing...it's that they have a talented development house in their hands.

The Last of Us trailer shows off how the characters come to life and above all, another winner on their hands.

even up and coming A-list guys (playing the lead in Bourne solidified that status as a headliner) like Jeremy Renner need some filler for $$$ every now and then

So apparently they are planning a "no powers/no costume" Wonder Woman series for the CW network. I don't know why the powers-that-be think that people want to see a non-comic book, comic book show. And for as much as I admire her rich comic history, Wonder Woman is a dead end character.

by Eric Goldman SEPTEMBER 6, 2012

Wonder Woman is getting another chance at a TV series. It was just last year David E. Kelley made a semi-infamous Wonder Woman pilot for NBC, which was passed on by the network. Now however, Vulture reports that there is a brand new TV take on Princess Diana in the works at The CW.

Titled Amazon, this is a complete origin story – what Vulture describes as being about “a young, budding superhero, rather than a fully formed defender of liberty.” It seems that, like Smallville, Diana may not even be called Wonder Woman at this point or wear the Wonder Woman costume – which would explain not using that name in the title.

Amazon is being written by Allan Heinberg, whose TV credits include Grey’s Anatomy and The O.C., but who is known to comic book fans for creating and writing Young Avengers at Marvel. He also has written for JLA and, yep, Wonder Woman at DC Comics.

Vulture notes there is no pilot ordered yet, just a script. It’s unclear how the development of Amazon affects progress on a potential new Wonder Woman movie, which Variety reported Michael Goldenberg (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) was writing – not to mention the character’s likely presence in the JLA movie. However, the potential TV series focusing on such a young version of Diana may make it possible for it to not be seen as a conflict with a different (and no doubt older) movie interpretation of the character.

While the 2011 NBC pilot starring Friday Night Lights' Adrianne Palicki was passed on, there's still plenty of nostalgic love for the 1970s Wonder Woman TV series, which starred Lynda Carter and helped elevate Wonder Woman into a much more well-known and popular character.

This could be good stuff if they this Xena style.

If only Lucy Lawless was a little younger or a had a younger sister who could act just as a good as her.

Oh well, maybe origin story is the way to go rather than an actual take on Wonder Woman as a fulfilled hero.

This looks just retarded. Unless it's supposed to be cheesy.

That seems to be the new Hollywood geek chic. This and movies like Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter where they take well known figures or characters and twist them in some sci-fi/horror/fantasy/action way. Don't be surprised if someone comes up with Winston Churchill, Zombie Killer,Gandhi the Yeti Slayer or Peter Pan & the Lost Boys as Harry Potter style wizards battling evil warlock Captain Hook and his band of pirate sorcerers.
