Funny Ass Shit Thread....

We were for the most part what you would consider married...just not with signed papers and the like.

He was really good to me and I was just too sick at that time to be in a relationship that I could be healthy in.

But he's gone and it is what it is. It really only comes over me when something triggers it.
Like Prince
Or DCD..
Or axe
or South Park

A lot of the things that were so him I let fall from my life. Most especially right after the breakup. There was a restaurant he was really excited to try that we never went to. I never went to it after we were done because all the association with it was with him.

I dream about him from time to time. In fact, I had a dream that he was moving and I sent him an email detailing the dream and he replied rather quickly. I knew as soon as I heard the mail come through with out opening it what it was going to say.

I can't remember how long we had been broken up at that point but it had to have been some time by then.
And even though I knew exactly what was in that email, down to the exact location he was leaving for, it opened something that had been healing, or trying to heal for...since we had broken up.

I knew then that I would never get over him. I wear a black sun tattoo on my right ankle in his honor. It was weird how that came about and I'll skip the detail...but it left me with chicken skin and when the original conversation regarding the tattoo came about I could see his reaction was a strong one.

I got it done to mark our 6 month aniversary of our final break up.

It was just so weird...because I got the tattoo and he knocked on my door the right after that..after not speaking to me for six months wanting to know how I was and if we could try again.

We had something. That was...more than what you see on the surface.

That's how he was though.
Strange and enigma like and just uncanny...

*sigh*

That kind of connection is rare, so I can see why it would be hard to get over. Unfortunately the connection and love aren't enough to make it work if it just isn't working. It's good to cherish what y'all had in the past as long as it doesn't interfere with being open to someone else in the future. I believe people come into our lives for a reason, and as long as we grow, learn, and gain wisdom there is never a reason to regret any of it even when it doesn't turn out the way we hoped it would. What y'all had was definitely a blessing IMO.

LOL!!! I love it! My brothers and I used to fight all the time, and though I'm glad my mama never came up with this idea, it would have been a good way for her to deal with it. I think I'd prefer the belt to being stuffed into a t-shirt with one of my little brothers. :p

Mitt Romney Pumping Gas

Aside from a controversial conference call with donors, Mitt Romney has kept a low profile since losing the 2012 presidential election to Barack Obama.

The former Republican nominee was spotted with his wife, Ann, at a screening of the new "Twilight" movie, "Breaking Dawn — Part 2," in Del Mar, Calif., on Saturday. According to TMZ, the pair later "hit up a pizza place across the street."

On Monday, a photograph of Romney filling up at a gas station in La Jolla, Calif., was posted to Reddit.com.
"Mitt Romney at my local gas station," Reddit user mkb95 wrote. "He looks tired and washed up".Romney's hair appears to be slightly frazzled, unlike the slicked-back coif he sported on the trail—though it's nothing like Al Gore'spost 2000 election loss.

Other Reddit users countered that the former Massachusetts governor merely looked annoyed at having his photo taken at the pump.

"I talked to him for a good three minutes while he was filling his tank," the photographer added. "I guess he's moving to one of his houses in the town I live in, La Jolla."

That would appear to be in line with what those close to Romney thought he'd do after the election—spend more time with his family (the 65-year-old has five sons and 18 grandchildren) and permanently move to California, where he owns a $12 million mansion.
