and no..no one should do backbreaking work for peanuts..but the whole 'go to school and get a skill' line is sooooooooooooooo not the point. those backbreaking jobs are NEEDED, or else a lot of shit in this country would be fucked up. but because of the whole elitist, centrist attitude that runs so deep in people, they think theyre worth more than the next man

Yes. That is why the dudes up on the pipelines in north dakota can make up to $30/h. Not anyone can do those jobs. They get room and board but basically have no life except working their backs off. Rough, hard work. Kudos to them. They deserve every penny
