My saxophone teacher told me that he often went to gigs to meet women as well as make money and a career. QJ is no exception(he and Henry Mancini shared an apartment in their early days). I was surprised when I had read that he was married to Peggy Lipton(The Mod Squad)and Nastassjia Kinski(daughter of actor Klaus Kinski and star of Cat People, a film she hated). I guess having been in the Hollywood and recording scene, he knew about taking care of business.

No. But I have no doubt he had other ww when he was a trumpet player(he had brain surgery to erase his memory of ever having played the trumpet). This happened while he was married to Peggy Lipton. He is still friends with all of his ex-wives to this day.
