Do you prefer your man to be tall or short?

I've said it before and I will say it again. It is hard to find someone but it is very easy to lose someone. People want someone who can compliment them, be it looks, height or financial status. Women like tall men because they want to feel safe. The issue of money is debatable but in the end, couples do not live on love. Love provides an emotional shelter. But it can't pay the rent or the utility bills.

Whoomp there it is!!!!!!

No crazy I dated a man who was 13 years my senior and the other guy wasn't even 6 feet tall he was like 5'10"

LMAOOO

But for real patient truly is a virtue everybody today lives in a society where they're expecting what they want when they want it and don't typically like to wait also known as a microwave society

5'10' must be the equivalent of Emmanuel Lewis for you :smt042

Agreed I've done it too. I totally suffered from grass is greener syndrome as a kid. Had this beautiful smart patient fun Swedish girlfriend, who looking back was the one who got me into accounting, who was such a great girl. Never fought, always had a good time, loyal as hell (Chingy tried to scoop her when we were out one night) down for whatever sexually amazing body but I was too young and stupid to appreciate her. Now I'll kick someone's teeth in to hold on to a good thing so I definitely feel you.

Fam, I sooooo feel you on this. In my 20's I had a girl who was really, really in my corner. Sweet as hell, vary loyal, smart, ambitious in all the right ways and tall like I like them. About 5'9". And to cap it all off, she looked like a young Morgan Fairchild and was down for what ever I wanted sexually. Everywhere we went dudes was trying to holla. Even my mother and aunts loved her (and mamma never liked anyone I brought home).

But, because she was well mannered, thoughtful and dressed like she
Had some class, I thought she was boring and too blond. I was set on dark hair, olive skin looking females. And wanted a girl with more fire (drama with a side order of insecurity issues).Well, long story short, it took me too long to figure out what I had and I she was gone.

Took me years to find another good girl like her.

Yeah its crazy when you look back. I tell my boys if you have a good one make sure you let her know you appreciate her because if you don't someone else will.
Same girl I was talking about met her husband like two months after and they're married with a kid out in LI now. Totally missed the boat on that one. Hard worker no drama, like I'm notoriously late sometimes and I remember one time I was thirty minutes late picking her up from the train. I remember pulling up ready to do the dance of a thousand apologies. I found her on a bench just reading. My experience in the past was all out blow out fights over it, but with her she just said "I figured something must have happened, its not like you don't want me here or you wouldn't have invited me here"
Dude I felt like shit, never late again after that. Ahhh the road not traveled.

U can be ignorant....just dont be a fool.

Nobody asked you. You have absolutely nothing to add but side jabs. Keep your "macking" notes to yourself. Date at least one ww then talk.

Oh really? U was the one starting with the jabs and when someone snaps back at u then u get mad. If u dont want side jabs dont dish it out.
As far as who asked, stop posting if u dont want a response.

Also, just cause u dated or not dated a ww doesnt mean shit about knowledge about women. For u to even say that shows foolishness. But for anyone who allows someone to call them the n-word , then what do i expect from them...foolishness. oh for a dude who likes being called the n-word in bed , should u need to stop talking about injustice or racism acted on blacks?

Oh wait who is whining about taller men getting the women...? Not me. Its u.

As far as the macking notes....raider and i told u a long time ago good convo along with other things get the woman (macking)...u was the one getting mad at us about saying only men with money get women. Lol.

Lastly just cause i have told u about who i dated doesnt mean it didnt happen. Lil man.

Lol you guys are all alike! I dated a guy once who I could've been real serious with but the whole time we were together he couldn't get past the fact that I wasn't his usual drama chick. He wanted a white chick with some hood in her and no matter how much he wanted me to be that, I'd never fit the bill lol. I'm quiet, educated and respectful lol. I don't do drama in my relationships. He wanted a side of me that just didn't exist. Anyways, to this day, dude says I'm the one that got away. Pretty crazy when people just can't appreciate what they have when they have it.

Are u kidding?

It's funny because I have been getting several messages every so often about "I appreciate you so much more now" or "I realize how special you are" or "you were so good to me"

Literally almost 2 years later

I have realized one thing over the years of heart ache.

When you realize you are better than the situation you are settling for, trust and believe in yourself, work on YOU and focus your attention on the things that truly matter, that's when something better comes along. Something that will literally change the way you think about relationships. This is what happened to me. And when I took the walls down, all I can say is WOW!

Never settle. Take the time you need to work on yourself and all other things will eventually fall into place.

Fixed 8-)

Are u kidding?

Lol no. This was a grown man, very decorated military career, established in every sense of the word, AND he was a Raider fan (!) but dude got off on drama chicks. He was used to loud, argumentative, in your face women. I'm none of those things lol. He dated IR a lot, just never a ww. Every thing about me was different than what he usually dated. Like I said, he wanted something in me that was never (would never be) there. Some dudes just don't know the value that a quiet, respectful chick can bring to their lives lol. By the time they realize what they let go, we're long gone, being loved and appreciated by someone who gets it. Guys just take longer to mature! Sucks for yall but it's fact

Just left a situation like that. Like is too fucking short to be even a little miserable. Good luck to him and his chosen life of headaches and heart aches
