She's a bloody idiot. Priorities.
Forget that she could have become 'water-borne' and then the rescue cops would have to save her, but she could have died from carbon-monoxide poisoning due to her exhaust being water-logged. Not to mention starting her up would wreak all sorts of mechanical & electrical hazards to the engine.
