Marvel Knights: Punisher Returns
Marvel will expand the newly revived Marvel Knights imprint with Marvel Knights: Punisher, a spinoff miniseries by writer Jimmy Palmiotti and artist Dan Panosian that will delve into the recent past of Frank Castle and how he became the Punisher that readers see in the flagship series Marvel Knights: The World to Come. The first issue of the four-issue miniseries will be released on October 8 with a cover by Panosian.
“This is Frank Castle pushed past his limits into uncharted, brutal territory,” Palmiotti said in a statement accompanying the announcement. “Dan and I aren’t revisiting a legend—we’re detonating it.”
“The Punisher is raw, unapologetic, and full of the type of grit we don’t often see anymore in mainstream comics,” Panosian added.

It's a shame they had to redesign the Punisher logo because white supremacist and militia wack jobs co-opted it.

Hmm. So they are putting the Moon Knight incarnation of Blade in this. Interesting.

The Spawn Universe, based on the character and world created by Todd McFarlane, will expand even further in October with the launch of the six-issue limited series Spawn: The Dark Ages, which will be written, inked, and colored by Liam Sharp.
The new series is set in the 5th century and centers on Erlking Ulegrave, the Devil’s Spawn, who forges an alliance with the Christian King Aurelianus Ambrosius to fight off the Saxons, Picts, and Hibernians who threaten his kingdom. The first issue will be released on October 8, 2025 by Image Comics, with a main cover by Sharp and a 1:50 variant by Ryan Brown.
“I wanted to create something truly unique, that didn’t require any former knowledge of Spawn, or the dark ages in general,” Sharp said in a statement accompanying the announcement. “I also wanted to take it right back to the very start of that period, setting the story in post-Roman Britain in the 5th Century—a time steeped in folkloric traditions, when the old Pagan ways were fading, whilst the new, young Christian faith was taking a hold. But I also wanted to write a grand melodrama, with love, betrayals, and courtly intrigues in the vein of the Arthurian legends—for whom our King, Aurelianus, was a prototype, and the possible historical root of that legend. And I wanted to give it a quirkily literate bent, to try and gift it a unique sense of place and time…”
The first Spawn: The Dark Ages series ran from 1999 to 2001 and featured a 12th-century Crusader who returned to Earth as a Hellspawn.

The Walt Disney Studios has revealed new promos for Tron: Ares and announced that tickets are now on sale for the October 10 release.
Honestly not a Bad Start. I do love how Fraction gives those short tech descriptions.
They really need to find something for Tim to do besides be Robin.
I have always been partial to this idea for Tim. https://x.com/logan_alex72645/status/1909754488665038885
I also rename Duke Thomas from Signal to Gold Shadow with more Black and less GOld on his costume.

It's official: James Gunn's Superman sequel has a title and release date, and it's coming a lot sooner than you might think. The title has been revealed as Man of Tomorrow, and it'll release in summer 2027.
Gunn made the announcement on social media, showing off a new piece of concept art by DC president and chief creative officer Jim Lee, while Superman actor David Corenswet and Lex Luthor actor Nicholas Hoult have also shared new concept art by current Batman artist Jorge Jimenez and award-winning Mister Miracle artist Mitch Gerads.
What's extra interesting though, is that the three images seem to reveal some major plot points for Superman 2, showing Lex and Superman fighting, but also showing them seemingly teaming up, with Supes even holding a screwdriver, apparently to help fix Lex's armor.
A Superman/Lex team-up isn't unprecedented, as a 2016 plotline in Action Comics involved Lex reforming as a hero in a new blue and red version of his armor, leading to a reluctant partnership between the two arch-foes.
The title may also indicate some things about the plot. 'The Man of Tomorrow' has been one of Superman's nicknames for decades, and lent itself to the title of one of his four '90s ongoing series. But there's more to it than that, as it's also invoked in the title of the story 'Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?', a comic by legendary Watchmen writer Alan Moore and all-time-great Superman artist Curt Swan.
In that story, Moore and Swan tell the story of Superman's final days on Earth, checking in with many of his arch-enemies and supporting cast along the way. The story serves as Superman's final story before his continuity was rebooted in 1985's Crisis on Infinite Earths event.
Man of Tomorrow is scheduled to hit theaters on July 9, 2027, just about two years after the first film.

Netflix has shared a first look at The Witcher Season 4, starring Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia. Consisting of eight 50-minute episodes, the fourth season will premiere on October 30, 2025.
The Witcher Seasons 4 and 5 will adapt the remaining Sapkowski books, Baptism of Fire, The Tower of the Swallow, and Lady of the Lake, promising a satisfying conclusion to the hit fantasy drama.
