The Power Fantasy Vol. 1
Superpowered.” You have certain preconceptions. They’re incorrect. Here, that word has a specific technical definition. Namely, “any individual with the destructive capacity of the nuclear arsenal of the U.S.A.”There are six such people on Earth. The planet’s survival relies on them never coming into conflict.Come dance to the ticking of the doomsday clock with KIERON GILLEN (THE WICKED + THE DIVINE, DIE) and CASPAR WIJNGAARD (HOME SICK PILOTS, ALL AGAINST ALL) in the first collection of this new, critically adored, sell-out epic.
Kill All Immortals Vol. 1
A thousand years ago, Viking explorer Erik the Red and his four adult children discovered a mysterious source of immortality. Now, in our modern world, they are an enigmatic billionaire family with a powerful banking empire.
But when Erik’s only daughter, Frey Asvald, seeks to finally be free from her family’s influence, she must be prepared to reveal their supernatural secrets and confront her well-trained siblings in a deadly and epic struggle for power.
Exquisite Corpses Vol. 1
Every five years on Halloween, the wealthiest families in America play a game. Twelve of the deadliest people in the world are dropped into a small town with just one goal: last killer standing wins. For the citizens of Oak Valley, Maine—this year's unlucky arena—the goal is much simpler. They must survive the night. Experience a comics event like no other from the minds of JAMES TYNION IV (Something is Killing the Children, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRUTH) & MICHAEL WALSH (THE SILVER COIN, UNIVERSAL MONSTERS: FRANKENSTEIN), as they lead a group of the most exciting voices in the industry. In this blood-soaked first volume, JAMES & MICHAEL are joined by PORNSAK PICHETSHOTE (THE GOOD ASIAN), MARIANNA IGNAZZI (Catwoman), and VALENTINE DE LANDRO (BITCH PLANET) to collaborate & compete to determine who wins...and who dies.

So, with Netflix buying Warner Bros. I'm really curious as to where this takes the DC cinematic universe, and the movie industry as a whole. I see a lot of people sounding doom and gloom. I'm reserving my judgment, but on a personal level, not having to subscribe to a half dozen diffrent streaming services would be nice.

Biggest drawback with all these corporate buyouts & mergers, especially under Trump, means more studio interference and less creative control for filmmakers. Meaning less variety of certain genres or sanitized & dumb downed versions of genres. Bottomline the corporate interests will mandate content they want made for bottom line purposes rather than content audiences will actually want to see.
