The really sad part is many of these kids will never see their parents again because they will get lost in the bureaucracy.

Kids in the foster system, (why even bring this up?), are there because their parents committed felonies or where deemed by the courts unfit to care for them. If extended family can't care for them, there isn't much alternative besides the foster care system.

Entering the country illegally is not a felony, so why is the Don stealing people's kids??

This story is going to blow up in Trump's face when more stories come out about the abuses many of these children suffered in detention centers across the country.

Obama didn't send all the 52,000 unnacompanied kids home - he moved them around the country. FACT.

These parents have two options. Go home or seek asylum, but if you do, we seperate you from your child because we can't have kids IN ADULT FUCKING HOLDING CELLS.

We spend $35,000 on these kids to house feed medical check and educate them while they wait. It's $100 a day, meanwhile on American foster kids we spend $70.

Obama's hands were tied due to a law that said minors with no parents were legally entitled to see a judge before getting deported, and with such an influx of minors the process dragged on. Obama tried everything he could to motivate Congress to reform this law and other immigration matters SO HE COULD DEPORT the kids, but it was no easy process. So PLEASE stop trying to paint BHO as some kind of "soft on illegal immigration, open borders, bleeding heart.

In March 1993, U.S. Supreme Court issued a ruling:
Flores vs Reno. The Court decided minors couldn't be incarcerated with adults illegally crossing the U.S. border. The decision was the result of a long dispute in how to best care for the children while the adults were detained for criminal proceedings. When aliens cross the border illegally - they are incarcerated until their criminal case is decided. The argument was ¿why should children be incarcerated while their parents are in jail?¿ It seemed a fundamental violation of international human rights.The Flores case drew a line in the sand. Children could not be incarcerated with their parents or accompanying adults while being held for illegal immigration violations. And a subsequent 1997 agreement stipulated that children must be placed in a safer environment where they could enjoy certain privileges, including education, a clean, safe environment. it was considered a ¿victory¿ for human rights.
