Lupe Fiasco...He's my favorite artist. Maybe be the best Rapper Post-Millenium in my opinion. I've also heard of Roscoe Dash. My friend post a song by him. I'm not gonna lie, I thought it was hella catchy lol. Not real hip hop which I would love people to listen to, but it caught my ear and I liked it.

Similar to what Lupe Said in a verse, "I never liked Hip hop because the women were degraded, but Too short made me laugh so like a hypocrite I played it"

True, but these guys are simply not having the same impact on listeners that the so-called "conscious" cats are. I mean, I enjoy listening to Immortal Technique, Talib, Lupe, The Roots and these other brothers, but the message they have is simply not permeating through society the way these coons like Soulja Boy, Roscoe Dash, Lil Wayne and others are. Most people think that these buffoons represent what hip hop really is and are authentic.

That is the problem. They are supposedly "what's hot" and are marketed as such.

i guess all the hip hop inspired people should just throw in the towel and give up because if they can't sell like 50 cent then what is the use in even trying

that is a horseshit attitude...that is like saying no one should ever try to be the best they can be because we already had a michael jackson...we already did madonna...we already had an usher...jay z already did that...come on people lets be real here...there will always be room for someone else to make there mark...it didn't end with elvis and it won't end with justin beiber, taylor swift or miley cyrus

agreed. pure crapola. even fiddy didnt sell like fiddy on his last album. and guess what, even fiddy's highest selling album isnt the highest selling rap album. so why are clowns always jocking this idiot?
