I joined the cheaters club a little while ago...

My reasons? I'm obviously a terrible person with absolutely no heart whatsoever.

Honestly though, I did regret it, but not so much that I'm going to beat myself up about it permanently.
Also, I'm in a frame of mind these days, where I want to pretty much please myself, obviously I should have been upfront about that.... but like every other normal person, I didn't want a big scene or worse a long stoney silence, ending up with lots of questions and me losing someone entirely.

Cheating is wrong, but it seems to me these days, that wrong is now the social norm, sad but true:smt022

No it's not hard to get sex no strings, but not everyman is happy to do that, they want you too themselves, a conflict of interests, you want them but you don't want the rules that go with them, so you end up pleasing yourself anyway.

That's a very bad thing you are saying about me Andrae. First: you are judging; second: you are assuming I'd go with a taken man anytime; third: you are assuming that I would do something like that to a friend.
And the "LOL" at the end doesn't make it less mean.
 
I would sleep with a married woman if it could be guaranteed that her husband wouldn't find out but it couldn't be guaranteed. I wouldn't want to cause someone the kind of grief and sadness that finding out their partner is cheating on them would cause. If people are going to cheat, they should at least do everything possible to ensure that their partner won't suspect or find out and thus suffer as a result.

I wouldn't ask my wife to be monogamous, a relationship should not (in my opinion) be a contract where both partners give each other ownership of their sexuality. If being with other men would make my wife happy, I should identify with her happiness.

Aww, TS he didn't mean it that way, hence the LOL. One thing I've learned about Andrae is that he just says what he thinks, he doesn't make innuendos. If he thought that about you, he'd have just said that to you bluntly. The whole point of adding LOL is to show he's kidding.

This is worse than cheating IMO. Lying and deception make you 100% unworthy of my trust, and I won't spend time with someone I can't trust. These things have a way of coming out, and when they do I think it's the broken trust, more than the sex, that hurts.

I disagree with this. A woman can find a willing suitor of all she truly wants is sex. Most women (and not saying this is you) most women say they want sex and and can't get ti, what they really mean is they can't have sex with the men they want...

...which is not the same as saying they can't get sex.

I disagree with this.....just saying. There was a time in my young Marine life where I only dated married women. Horrible thing to do? I guess. Wrong? Of course. But not to the level of what people subscribe too. On the hierarchy of fucked up things I did as a young stupid kid, cheating never has risen to the level of condemning myself to hell. I stopped not because I had an epiphany of wrong doing, LOL...but because I actually convinced myself that one married woman I was messing with was going to leave my dumb ass and run away with me.

If I was going to insult you I would leave little room for confusion but since you brought it up by saying you knew a man was married and messed with him anyway shows that can you be a self serving person who adjusts her morals to suite her wants. So it's not far fetched to believe that you could or would do that to a friend. If you really wanted the guy, like you wanted the other married one, and felt justified why wouldn't you?
I'm not being accusatory just following your line of thinking.

I guess posts like this further prove people will try to do whatever they want no matter who it hurts and they'll always find a way to justify it instead of being honest about it.

I always tried to do what I wanted, and justified it by saying "its what I wanted to do" there are a lot of things that you do when you are young that only make sense when you are young. Thought we had it all figured out, thought we knew it all.

I am not going to now stand back and say "Oh god it was the most horrible thing every....I should die" You look back on dumb shit......you learned (hopefully) and you move forward.

Good point I just wish people could be a little more mindful of one another. Cheating isn't cool anyway you slice it. It's cruel to act like since you're not the one committed in a relationship it's ok to participate in ruining another's. And the idea that we don't have a responsibility to be decent to one another is sickening. It's easy to turn down sex just walk away, no one holds a gun to your head especially when facilitating someone elses pain.
I just don't get the selfishness
