At the risk of doing the member in question a disservice by dragging it out, he certainly doesn't need 'charitable evaluations', and in fact in my case they come from a place of having known and spent time with him beyond the forum and therefore couldn't be more genuine and deserved.

Yeah, that's the "wonderful" thing about the internet. People can hide behind their keyboards and say anything and everything that comes to their mind without fear of repercussions.

It doesn't give me much hope for humanity. LOL.

I've said more than once. The anonymity of the internet just let's some people do & say all the fucked & ass backward shit they wouldn't say in real life. Makes them brazen as all hell.

Nor is it in mine. It's sad to see how quickly some people become turn on each other.

Like you guys said, there is no way in Hell, any of them would say those things if they were in the same room with the other person. Just because it's the internet, doesn't mean all tact has to go out the window.
