I just saying, and this is solely my opinion: alot of people say they wouldn't cheat knowing if they had the opportunity to they would. Hell, some will say they dont and make a way to cheat. Cheating is a negative characteristic and most people won't own up to having it.

Guess that's fair. I guess I need to have faith and trust that the person I'm with won't. If I live life completely suspicious of someone what kind of life can we really have together?
If I can't trust that my significant other won't betray my trust and put my health at risk then why even do it. Why try?

No,, try. Love is a great thing with understanding. A person can make anything wrong in a relationship when they're negative. A 30 minute trip to the store can be accused of cheating. I don't think that way about nothing. The cup is always half full if not full. Lol. I've seen dudes loose their job behind negative thinking with their girl/ spouse. I'm saying,, put your all in your relationship if you both have that understanding. (washing my vehicle, shit may not make sense)

I think this is the point of all. Understanding. We are all not perfect, we have good emotions and we have very bad ones. A longtime relationship can only work with understanding, asking and followed with work on it.

To me cheating is about having sex outside of the relationship or forming an emotional attachment to someone else. Nothing petty as a trip to the store fam

My point about the store is that if a person dont trust and thinks negative a 30 minute trip to the store you may be accused of cheating. Cheating is not one specific thing or action. Ex: Having lunch with a friend may be cheating to me but not you. People differ in opinion.

True, to me its all physical action. Like I said in an earlier post my emotions can heal just don't bring disease into my life just because you don't have the courtesy to just up and leave. My heart will mend my immune system might not. Shit is real out there fam.

The incident that provoked my writing this thread is that my boyfriend (who I love AND respect) was across the country last week visiting his hometown and I went on a date with another man. Ironically... come to find out via an email from some random woman who wants his nuts... he cheated too. Had she not gone out of her way to sabotage him I would have never found out and I have still yet to come clean about the things that I have done. Maybe I'm just a terrible (honest) person but this doesn't seem to hurt my conscious at all.

My logic as that I'm a good looking 23 years old girl, I will most likely NOT end up with this guy forever, and therefore I do not want to put all of my eggs in one basket. I don't think this means that I don't love, respect, and think very highly of him. I enjoy our relationship vastly. When a person cheats I don't think that it's something that someone does TO YOU... it's something they're doing for themselves. The only thing missing in my relationship at the time was... his presence.

Youre right about the 23 year old part and the likelihood that you wont end up with this guy. However, you seem to have trouble accepting the idea that youre morally flawed in regards to commitment. The verbal gymnastics arent really necessarily because theres no way to get around the fact that youre deceiving your boyfriend.

The simple solution is the one that most responsible adults follow and thats to simply not commit to anything when youre at a stage in life where you dont want to.

Thats not to say that people dont make regretful choices along the way. The issue here however is the irrational pre planned justification.

That is very true something would be missing... here is a scenerio my last partner didn't give head and i said if i ever find myself in a situation i'm gonna get me some good head it was the part of oral sex that was missing i never found myself getting that head...but that part of oral sex was missing.it was never discussed... when we met i thought everything was everything...i'm a anything goes kinda guy in the bedroom except playing in my ass & pain.

Lying is very benefical at times to keep the peace between all parties... for example I went out with my chick on the side and she was grilling me making some of the same assumptions some of the women in this thread are making of cheaters "Something must be missing from your marriage since your with me", "You sound bitter", etc

I crushed her ego when I told her "our relationship is perfect and I'm loving my life right now, honestly I have 10 other side chicks :smt081 you think your the only one?" She got mad as fuck so I had to back off and say I was lying making a joke to bring back the peace.

Oh well, live your life peoples.
